One of the Classic fantasy and family movies. During postproduction, we face lots of challenges. More or less for all, compositing work. Because the short death lines. Most of work, was extensions for all North Pole scenes, and all flying Santa’s sleighs shots. (landing shots) With Cg animated reindeers.
Among other work, one of the interesting things, what I done. Was the polar effect of Aurora borealis. ( I did that without Cg help, or Maya fluids particles ) It is actually 3d projection in comp. combined with light effect. Proper compositing work and also, in this way, I was free to change the style ( which was in this Project, really useful ). To achieve Director vision.
